Brazil Cops Kill 13 Would-Be Robbers In Shootout

WNO-BRAZIL CRIME-Police amazed a gathering of suspects attempting to explode a programmed teller machine in the eastern city of Salvador, starting a shootout Friday that killed no less than 13 of the future criminals, law implementation authorities said.

The Public Safety Department of Bahia state said the posse was setting up explosives by an ATM when police arrived. Every one of the 16 posse parts were injured in the ensuing shootout and raced to a close-by healing facility, where 13 of them passed on. Two of the three surviving shooters were recorded in genuine condition.
