Ten dead, including French wearing stars, in helicopter crash in Argentina
WNO-ARGENTINA-A gathering of French games stars taking an interest in an unscripted television show were among 10 individuals killed Monday when their helicopters impacted in mid-air while recording in northwestern Argentina.
Champion mariner Florence Arthaud, Olympic gold medalist swimmer Camille Muffat and Olympic boxer Alexis Vastine were among those murdered when two helicopters taping the survival arrangement "Dropped" collided with one another in the rough heaps of La Rioja region, nearby authorities said.
"Clearly, the two helicopters impacted as they were taping. There are no survivors," commonplace representative Horacio Alarcon told AFP.
He said the climate conditions were great and the reason for the accident was obscure.

Alternate stars taking part in the show were swimmer Alain Bernard, cyclist Jeannie Longo, footballer Sylvain Wiltord, snowboarder Anne-Flore Marxer and figure skater Philippe Candeloro.
None of them were among the victimized people.
The common government said a cast and team of around 80 individuals, for the most part French nationals, had plummeted on the territory as of late to film the arrangement.
Shooting started in late February in Ushuaia, at the southern tip of South America in the cold landscape of Patagonia.
It then moved to La Rioja, whose beautiful mountain scenes are mainstream with travelers.
Film teams from the arrangement had officially shot preparatory footage in Villa Castelli in late September, said nearby news site DataRioja.
The accident happened around 5pm (2000 GMT) close to the town of Villa Castelli, around 1,100 kms (700 miles) north of the capital Buenos Aires, said commonplace security secretary Cesar Angulo.
The commonplace government said the accident happened in the Quebrada del Yeso gorge.
One of the helicopters was given by the commonplace government and the other by the police constrain in the neighboring area of Santiago del Estero.
